If the free drinks weren't socially lubricating enough, the setting of the Seattle Public Lilbrary provided an inspirational venue for some feverish chatter by Gnomedex conference attendees.

A mood of optimism - at times likened to the spririt of Woodstock - prevailed as over 300 primo-geeks reviewed and forecasted the accomplishments of the personal media revolution.

In the past, Gnomedex has introduced participants to the world of RSS, blogging and podcasting but this year Google, Yahoo and Microsoft demostrated their adoption of these new tools with ample schwag and RSS-supported product demos.

TheĀ  party was held at The Seattle Public Library, Rem Koohaus' masterpiece, which makes every photoblogger look like a genuis because it cannot be badly photographed.
