I was flying to New York from Vancouver today and found out that there was a security breach at the Vancouver airport.  Apparently, there was a suspicious bag with wires coming out of it that the security staff saw. By the time they went to find it, the person had already carried it on the plane and they lost him.

So, when my flight landed in Toronto for a stopover, they pulled all the passengers off  and spent an extra hour searching everyone before they could make their connections or leave the airport.   Uh, isn't that a little too late?  The guy was already on the plane!  Thankfully nothing happened, but what a gong show.  Many flights were cancelled.  You should check the listings in the morning to make sure there are no further delays.

Hard to believe this could have happened.  What a joke.
