NP Rank:
Senator Hillary Clinton’s Five Step Plan To Victory
The gloves are off and the candidates have already begun swinging. Obama has received key support and contributors, but has yet to display the political muscle that Hillary has known for decades. This campaign can’t afford one misstep that is why Hillary Rodham Clinton will stick to five basic themes in the race for the White House in the 2008 Campaign:
1. Appear Warm & Witty
As you seen in her announcement video posted on her site she took pains to appear bubbly and upbeat. This is a part of a plan to let voters in and learn more about her. Throughout the Clinton’s administration she began a quest to fulfill her political ambitions by surrounding herself with her own top notched advisors and releasing information about her early life, even the fact that she pursued joining the Marines at one point. In the next couple of months observe Hillary Clinton on the stump appearing a lot more relaxed and approachable.
2. Capture the Center
Hillary Clinton has already begun in earnest working with top republicans on key legislation. Look for Senator Clinton to do the same while trying to convince independents and moderates that she can be elected and has the ability to find common ground reaching across the aisle; traits of a true leader. In the background she will kow-tow to the farther left portions of her party’s base seeking key endorsements.
3. Profound Religious & Spiritual Connection
This candidate will be seen coming out of church and going to church more than any of her opponents. All of a sudden she’ll have a more profound religious and spiritual connection to deity. Like Billy seeking out the Rev. Jesse Jackson during his impeachment proceedings, look for Senator Hillary Clinton to seek out top religious officials to anoint her candidacy.
4. Look What Men Has Gotten Us Into Appeal
Hillary will be seen on the popular male dominated talk shows on late night, but she will also launch a top notched agenda to be just one of the gals. Oprah might be out due to her support of Barack Obama, but it wont stop Hillary Clinton from trying. Look for Hillary to be seen with folks like Ellen DeGeneres to appeal to that crucial female vote. Indeed, it is one of the true test of her campaign. She will try to say look what men has gotten us into and appeal for a testosterone level change in the White House. Hillary will make a mad rush to push legislation on wage equity, other workplace issues and children’s issues to the forefront.
5. Be a Smart Fighter
When they come attacking, laugh it off and fight only when it’s absolutely necessary. Let the ones clawing for campaign funds sweat their way to the top while appearing unnerved and statesmanlike. Highlight contradictions in their message and appear above the fray.
