There is an ethics scandal in the Albuquerque Public Schools. The school board and administration have repeatedly refused to hold themselves honestly accountable to the same standard to which they hold students accountable; the Pillars of Character Counts.

The scandal remains unaddressed because the local media steadfastly refuse to report the story; itself a scandalous betrayal of trust and the public interest.

It is my belief that Senator Domenici aware of the scandal, has the ability to bring public attention to the scandal, and has not.

Senator Domenici is a founding father of Character Counts.

Also MIA is the Senator’s assistant, Lisa Breeden. Ms. Breeden is a member of the local Character Counts Leadership Council, and has apparently kept the scandal secret from that group.
