I recently visited a 'Handel & the Castrati ' exhibition at the Handel House museum, 25 Brook Street,London. (He lived there from 1723 until his death in 1759 and it was here that he composed the Messiah.) I got to the top floor and, knock me over with a feather, discovered myself in a room dedicated to Jimi Hendrix. Apparently he had lived on the top floor a couple of hundred years later.
