UPDATE 3:30pm GMT/ 11:30am EST:  Newest reports attributed to Yemenes sources said that six Spanish tourists and one Yemanese are dead, and seven injured. The tourist convoy was a Spanish, not German. The same sources said the attack may be linked to Al-Qaeda.


In other related news, Prince Nayef, Ministry of Interior said that the saudi security forces unfolded 180 terrorist plots since 2003.

YEMEN July 2, 2007 3:05pm GMT/ 11:05am EST   - Reports are just coming of a car exploded in the tourist historical site in Ma'areb area, east of Yemen.


The explosion targeted a German tourist convoy. Yemenese sources say at least four people are dead and seven injured.
