Severe gale warning for Thursday morning

The Netherlands is set to be hit by storm force winds of up to 120 kpm this morning as a severe storm sweeps over the country, the KNMI weather bureau warns. The storm is set to hit coastal areas at around 9am and will reach maximum force at around midday, the KNMI says.

Air travellers are being warned to expect serious delays for both incoming and outgoing flights.
