The Sex and The City Movie Is a Go!
Considering that the finale of "Sex in the City" was so big and it was met with so much anticipation that the producers created two endings, it's not surprising that a feature film version has been greenlighted [finally.] Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will reprise their roles as fearless, sometimes single and always fashionable New Yorkers looking for love amongst the piles of shoes. Intially, the deal was nixed because Kim Cattrall wanted her salary to be the same as Sarah Jessica Parker's who got a bigger offer because she also had executive producer credits. The movie will begin shooting in mid-September is said to be produced by New Line Cinema.. So what do you guys think? Will the movie have as much success as the cable television version?
Whatever tensions existed are gone now, sources said. Cattrall has a deal she’s happy with, one the sources said gives her input on her scenes, a fat salary and a future series deal with HBO.
Shooting is slated to start in September on the long-awaited film reunion of Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall.

Thanks, Victoria. Every person--okay, woman--I know who loves this show will be very excited to hear this. I wonder where the movie will go...more break ups and make ups with Mr. Big? Will Aidan show up? More babies?
