A five-foot shark was finally captured in the Mediterranean Sea near Tarragona Spain, after many failed attempts in recent days. Fortunately only minor injuries were experienced by two of the four experts who were involved in the effort.

The animal was transferred to the Barcelona Aquarium. The species of shark is not known to be agressive, however it proved to be quite unhappy about being captured, proving that under some circumstances yes, that species can be agressive!

The beach in Tarragona has been re-opened, and an investigation is being made to try to determine why the shark came so close to land there.

There is something fascinating about a shark story, no matter where it happens.  I always think of these when I'm swimming in the ocean.
