Sweden's Goran Ehlme won the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition
for his photograph âBeast of the sedimentâ. The image of a walrus
whipping up a cloud of sediment at the bottom of a fjord with its
flippers and bristles to uncover plants and clams was one of 18,000
entries from 55 countries. The competition sponsored by Shell UK seeks
original wildlife pictures taken by photographers worldwide.
