Fleet Week New York, hosted nearly every year since 1984, is the city's celebration in honor of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The event provides an opportunity for the public to meet sailors and Marines. More than 6,000 U.S. and international sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen are taking part in this year's event.
