Smashing Pumpkins Announce Full-Blown North American Tour

Smashing Pumpkins have announced an expansion of
their current U.S. residency tour to include a full-blown North
American tour this fall. The North American tour, the bands first in
seven years, will kick off in Montreal on September 6, with their first
U.S. show scheduled for Las Vegas, Nevada on September 13. The tour
will be in support of the bands upcoming album 'Zeitgeist', which is
out July 10. Along with the N.A. dates, the band announced plans to
perform tracks from the new album on the "Late Show With David
Letterman" on two separate dates, July 9 and 13. The Smashing Pumpkins
will continue their Asheville, North Carolina residency with a show
tonight (July 3).
