Smooth Shifts Change

November 6, 2006 Fire chiefs have praised crews for helping make sure a new shift pattern was implemented successfully. The new shifts came into effect on Wednesday, as part of a review into the service by bosses and the Fire Brigades Union. Under the new arrangements, the handover from night shift to day shift has moved from 7am to 8am.
