It has been over 20 years since I was a member of the Air Force. I find this type of thing horrible. I remember being SPECIFICALLY told that if, as a member of the Armed Forces, I were (or any of us in my unit) asked to do something that is MORALLY wrong, we had the right to refuse. I can't believe these soldiers "forgot" this edict. Being under orders does not remove them from any moral obligations. They should have reported the orders and those who gave the orders.
