EU Referendum on Mr Des Browne's intervention in the House of Commons today; the Guardian's news report, the Times's, and the Telegraph's. The defence secretary admitted that he made a mistake by not quashing the media nonsense on the return of the 15 British hostages from Iranian captivity and announced a six week formal investigation into the greater issues of how and why Tehran's forces were able to do what they did.  I simply cannot easily get beyond the smiling faces of those sailors and Marines in the Iranian propaganda photographs and videos: something is not right in the Royal Navy.
