South Florida Home Prices Fall, But Will Sales Rise?

South Florida home prices continued to drop in February even as the national real estate market showed a slight, unexpected sign of improvement after months in the doldrums.

An average home sold for around $306,000 here -- down more than $50,000 from the same time last year. And still, the stockpile of unsold homes grew.
