Southern Mindanao joins CUP Day

DIGOS CITY - Two major clean up sites will be established in Southern Mindanao in celebration of Clean Up the Philippines Day and the international Clean Up the World Weekend.

In Davao City, a tree planting activity and a clean up drive will be held spearheaded by the Junior Philippine Management Association of the Philippines Davao Confederation.  

Another site will be located at Davao del Sur where a tree planting activity and a clean up drive will be held in the villages organized by the South Philippine Adventist College.

"We are appealing to the residents of Mindanao to come and join us on September 15 in cleaning up our local environment", said Mr. Robin Charles O. Ramos, Clean Up the Philippines Campaign Manager for Mindanao.

"Everybody can do his share in raising environmental awareness to our communities.  Clean Up the Philippines Day is a great opportunity for us Filipinos to show the world that we care for our environment" he added.
