The 2009 MLB Home Run Derby took place in St. Louis. So who won the Home Run Derby? Prince Fielder of the Milwaukee Brewers beat out Nelson Cruz of the Texas Rangers. Fielder is the son of former Detroit Tigers slugger Cecil Fielder. Hometown fans were disappointed that St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols failed to make it to the final round.
