The New York Yankees won their 27th World Series and Yankees fans took to the streets to celebrate. Thousands of Yankee fans gathered in Times Square and other parts of the city to celebrate. Fans watched the game on a giant screen located in Times Square and partied into the night.
Fans honored the Yankees World Series win throughout the city. In Washington Square, the city's large Dominican community celebrated the Yankee win.
