The announcement of the 2010 Baseball Hall Of Fame ballot vote is due to come today. Twenty-six candidates are on the ballot this year voted by 575 members of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. Fifteen players have been nominated for the first time, while eleven others were holdovers from last year.


The National Baseball Hall of Fame is a historic museum for the sport. Located in Cooperstown, New York, the Hall of Fame features baseball-related exhibits and honours players who have left their mark on the sport. The results of the vote are to be posted on the web sites of the Hall of Fame and the Baseball Writers' Association of America today at 2 P.M. local time.
