CRANBROOK EAGLES HOST BUCKSKIN GLOVES

The 2011 Buckskin Gloves will be hosted by the long running CRANBROOK EAGLES BOXING CLUB May 14 and 15th., 2011. at the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort

Some of the local boxers expected to see action are:

COLIN ADAMS, BRANDON LUKE and RYAN LINDSAY

One of the anticipated bouts expected is a women's boxing bout between Tammy Bain of Cranbrook and Amy Sigurdson of Fernie.  An official of the Cranbrook club is Billy Watson while the Fernie club is operated by Garth Rizzuto.

It is also hoped that a match can be obtained for Vancouver Astoria Boxing Club's

At the end of the two day tournament, three key award recipients were

RYAN LINDSAY, DYLAN BISHOP, and CONNOR MCKINLEY

Bishop is from the Maple Ridge Boxing Club and McKinley is from Kelowna's Thistletown Boxing Club.
