2012 London Olympics jobs website goes live
People interested in a job at the 2012 London Olympics can now register on the official recruitment website.
Tens of thousands of posts will be on offer, ranging from catering and cleaning to customer services and technical roles, from March.
Those registered on the Jobs for the Games website will be alerted as soon as relevant jobs become available.
The London organising committee has a target of employing 15-20% of the total workforce from the six host boroughs.
Paul Deighton, of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Locog), said they were committed to recruiting a diverse workforce and helping people get their first foot on the career ladder.
"There will be tens of thousands of jobs available over the next 18 months and I would urge people to register their interest and make sure they hear about the opportunities first," he said.
The website can be found at www.london2012.com
