Toss: Sourav Ganguly has won the toss and Kolkata will bat first. He says the the pitch looks good to have a hit early on. It's dry and could get a little slower as the evening progresses.

Team changes: Kolkata have made just the one change, bringing in Debabrata Das for Aakash Chopra. Mohammad Hafeez might open with Salman Butt. Chennai have made a couple of changes, bringing in Parthiv Patel and Makhaya Ntini for Chamara Kapugedera and Joginder Sharma respectively.

So what do we look out for, apart from Shoaib of course? Ganguly v Muttiah Muralitharan - It will be interesting to see how Ganguly handles the offspinner after having been completely tied down in their previous encounter by a leg-stump line. I'm looking forward to Balaji particularly. When I met him last November he was extremely elusive and politely declined all interviews. He wants to let his cricket do the talking and thank goodness for his comeback. Balaji's million dollar smile is back. Are the girls in Pakistan watching??
