November 21, 2011- The San Francisco 49ers fresh off a 23-7 win vs the Arizona Cardinals will come to Baltimore on Thanksgiving night with an 9-1 record and battle the Ravens at M & T Bank Stadium.

M & T Bank Stadium for a long while has waited for the right nickname. That time is now and the new nickname is "The Flocktagon."

"The Flocktagon"stadium nickname honors the hundreds of thousands of fans who flock to home games to see their Ravens who have won 15 out of 16 games played at home. "The Pentagon" is the headquarters to the United States Department of Defense.

"The Flocktagon," Baltimore's Headquarters of Defense is a marketing concept created by Dunkadelic Sports Marketing located in downtown Baltimore just minutes away from M & T Bank Stadium.

Derrick E. Vaughan of Dunkadelic Sports Marketing says, "The Flocktagon" stadium nickname will make M & T a historic landmark venue in the NFL. It will also help continue the defensive legacy created by Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, and the rest of the players over the past dozen years that have helped create the defensive culture that has become a signature of Ravens football."

Vaughan continues, "the Steelers and Ravens have both branded their teams identity with defense. The new stadium nickname will only enhance what is being labeled as the best rivalry in the league today.

The 49ers will be searching for a little gold Thanksgiving night, but it will be tough to find when they enter "The Flocktagon" and line up against that vaunted Ravens defense.
