The next Ovechkin is on the rise: He is only 9 years old but Olviver Wahlstrom is showing the handles of a pro. Wahlstrom played in the TD Bank's Mini 1-on-1 challenge. The video footage of him performing a reverse behind the back shot and scoring. It looks similar to Ovechkin's attempt at the the all-star game except that Ovechkin couldn't sink the puck and that Oliver is only 9 YEARS OLD! The video is a must-see for anybody, hockey fan or not.
Wahlstrom is so good, he plays for the Portland Junior Pirate Pee-Wee Major 97s, which is a team of 12-year-olds in Maine. However, his skills are no surprise, as his father, Joakim Wahlstrom, was a 10-year player for the Swedish Elite League.
