Abby Wambach Breaks Tie in USA-France World Cup Semifinal

Abby Wambach broke the 1-1 tie between the USA and France in the 79th minute of their Women's World Cup semifinal match.

Team USA went on to win 3-1, thanks to a goal by Alex Morgan in the 82nd minute. The USA will play the winner of the Sweden-Japan match in the final on July 17.

The first two goals of the match were scored by Lauren Cheney (USA) and Gaetane Thiny(FRA).
