Abebe Bikila of Ethiopia: 50Years ago, 42KM marathon on Barefoot!

People of the world know Abebe Bikila more than his country Ethiopia. Forty two years ago, Bikila had broken World Marathon record at Rome running at his barefoot. He broke the world Marathon record twice consecutively.

The peoples of the world outside Africa were presuming Africans as emotional dangerous people at spot like wild lives. It was Bikila who broke this world mindset running patiently for two hours on barefoot breaking the Marathon record that Africans have endurance in achieving their goals.

Today, another Ethiopian athlete hero Haile Gebresellassie took the patriot shield of Bikila. Gebresellassie, broke over twenty five records in world athletes and never in the world compete his performance to date.

Would it be possible to get 2010 World Cup hero African team that magnify the image of their continent?

I like the article,however I have to give comment for good.Abebe Bikila won in 1960 Rome Olympic,so, I can see a mistake in the first paragraph.Always rty to check facts.Dont be so sensetional as 50 years is not so long as to say Africans are dangerous as bists.Be sure with historical facts to say so,otherwise,you may undermine your article.All the rest is fine with me.keep it up.
