There were plenty of big playing during the fourth quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers vs Minnesota Vikings game. There was the Percy Harvin touchdown, which took down a referee. But perhaps the most impressive play came when Vikings running back Adrian Peterson literally ran over William Gay of the Steelers. Peterson caught the ball for a short reception and absolutely trucked William Gay, who has a reputation as a big hitter himself.

During the broadcast of the Steelers-Vikings game, commentator Darryl Johnston noted that Peterson looked more like a linebacker than a running back during the vicious hit. The Adrian Peterson hit on William Gay was all for naught when on the same drive Brett Favre threw an interception for a touchdown that sealed the game for the Steelers.
