An Alabama High School basketball game descended into a huge fight that resulted in several arrests. The fight took place in the fourth quarter of a game between Alabama's Carver and Valley High School playoff game at the Acadome, the home stadium of Alabama State University.

The brawl was triggered by a hard foul by Valley's Enrique Florence on Carver's Roquez Johnson. Johnson shoved Florence, which triggered a bench-clearing brawl. Fans of both teams poured onto the court to join in on the fight. After police calmed things down on the floor, fights broke out in the stands.

Officials report that 10 to 12 people were detained by local police.

Here is video of the Alabama High School Basketball Fight from WSFA.

who cares

it has come to the point that a bunch of idiots ruin everything but you can't expect much. people of the U.S. worry more about sports and the players, than they should. i would be safe to guess most of these people couldn't fill out a job application , not like they are going to work anyway, but they can play basketball, whoopie.... my answer is who really gives a ratsa**. there are more important thing to worry about in this country. if sporting events need the police to provide security then cancel them.
