Alex Androsuk Injury Video-Middle School Coach Hits Kid in Drill
Roseville Middle School Student Alex Androsuk Broke His Collarbone When a Coach Put on a Helmet And Took Part in a Drill. Here is the Football Coach Hits Student Video
Here's another story we can file under the category "Not exactly Friday Night Lights." A middle school football coach in Michigan broke a student's collarbone after laying a hit on the young player.
A football coach at Roseville Middle School reportedly put on a helmet and participated in a drill where he challenged 13-year-old Alex Androsuk to tackle him. Androsuk ended up injuring himself on the play, breaking his collarbone.
"It hurt real bad. It was hard to breathe," Androsuk said.
Not surprisingly, father Bernard Androsuk is upset. He noted that having his son injured by another player is one thing, but having his hurt by a coach is quite another.
The coach that injured Androsuk has not been named. Roseville Middle School says they have not decided whether the coach will return next season.
