First, George Clooney was romantically linked to WWE diva Stacy Keibler. Now New York Yankees shortstop Alex Rodriguez is allegedly dating WWE star Torrie Wilson. Okay, two examples may not qualify as a trend, but what exactly is going on here?

Reports of the A-Rod, Torrie Wilson romance popped up December 30, 2011. According to a report in the Daily Mail, Alex Rodriguez was spotted with Torrie Wilson while he was vacationing in Mexico with, you guessed it, George Clooney.

Clooney is friends with A-Rod and Keibler is close with Wilson, leading some to wonder if this may have been some sort of set-up.

A reporter in Boise, Idaho claimed that he spotted A-Rod in a local gym while Wilson was in town to visit family.

Prior to dating the blonde WWE diva, Alex Rodriguez dated blonde music diva Madonna and blonde movie diva Cameron Diaz. I sense a pattern here.
