Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin scored another highlight reel goal against the Montreal Canadiens last night.
Ovechkin started the amazing play by evading a rushing Habs playing by making a back pass to himself to center ice. He then rushed down the ice, skated past another Habs player and put the puck in the net as he fell to the ice.
The goal was reminiscent of a play OV8 made during his rookie season, one that known simply as The Goal.

I enjoyed the spin-o-rama at centre ice more than the actual goal.

I agree with Jeff, I thought the move at center ice to create the opportunity was even more impressive than the goal. It's sad, but I guess I've come to expect the spectacular goals! So now I like to see how he sets them up. Hitting opposing players to take the puck away and making passes of the board to himself are just awesome!
