Aly Raisman Didn't Wait for the IOC to Honor the Munich Victims

US Gymnast Aly Raisman told the NY Post that she chose "Hava Nagila" (don't pretend you don't know it) as her Floor Exercise routine music to pay tribute to the 11 Israeli athletes murdered at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

You know, the same Israeli athletes that the IOC has refused a moment of silence for the last 40 years. Aly Raisman, 18, is Jewish.

Aly Raisman took the Gold Medal in the Women's Floor Exercise on August 7. As she did her thing, the audience at North Greenwich Arena clapped along, thus becoming part of the tribute.

Classy and subversive. I like it.
