Amanda Pflugard Bikini Photos Threatens Cheerleader's Scholarship

University of Oregon cheerleader Amanda Pflugard has asked a sports website to take photos of her in a bikini saying that the school has threatened to withdraw her cheerleading scholarship.

Amanda Pflugard wrote an e-mail to Busted Coverage entitled “cheerleading scholarship is in JEOPARDY.” Pflugard goes on to write that photos of her on a boat cruise that were posted on the site in July may get her into trouble.

The web site promptly took down the photos in question, although some of the Amanda Pflugard photos can be found in Google cache.

It's entirely possible that Amanda Pflugard's e-mail may have overstating the seriousness of the threat to her scholarship, although the school's cheerleading program has undergone some turmoil as two cheerleading advisors were recently let go.

Amanda Pflugard has been featured in Sports Illustrated as the Cheerleader of the Week.
