Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut suffered a gruesome injury during Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns. The Andrew Bogut injury occurred after the Bucks big man fell to the floor after a dunk. Bogut hung on the rim and then fell to the floor and appeared to dislocate or break his elbow.

What Happened to Andrew Bogut?

With the Bucks leading in the second quarter, the Australian big man received a deep outlet pass in for a slam dunk. Bogut hung on the rim after the dunk and was touched from behind by the Suns' Amare Stoudemire and fell to the court. He appeared to twist his elbow and hit his head hard on the floor.

Stoudemire was charged with a flagrant foul. Replays, however, indicated that Stoudemire may not have had a lot of contact with Bogut.

How Bad is the Andrew Bogut Injury

There is no word on the nature of the Andrew Bogut injury, but you don't need to be a doctor to figure out that Bogut seriously damaged his arm and he is likely out for the rest of the season.

Arguably, the Andrew Bogut injury video is the  nastiest basketball injury since Los Angeles Clippers guard Shaun Livingston landed awkwardly, nastily twisting his leg around.

The Andrew Bogut injury is a serious blow to the Bucks season. After several seasons of irrelevance, the Bucks appeared to be heading to the playoffs. Bogut has been a big part of the team's resurgence. Coming into the Bucks game versus the Suns, Bogut averaged 15.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
