Anthony Kim a Loose Cannon? Robert Allenby Calls Out Anthony Kim

The US won the Presidents Cup, but according to Aussie golfer Robert Allenby, American golfer Anthony Kim was having a little bit too much fun prior to the US victory. Allenby was paired against Anthony Kim and claimed that Kim was not quite up to par after a night after partying. Allenby said that friends of his saw Anthony Kim partying until 4 am the night before he was supposed to be out on the golf course.

“Maybe we should all take the theory of Anthony Kim,” Allenby said. “Get home at 4 o’clock (in the morning) and then go shoot 6 under.”

Asked if his comments were on the record, Allenby said, “I don’t care. Ask his playing partners. Ask his team. He is the loosest cannon in that team.”

Allenby went on to call the 24-year-old Kim golf’s “current John Daly

As for Anthony Kim, he denied the accusations made by Allenby, referring to them as "absolutely false."
