Antonio Burks, a former point guard for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies and University of Memphis, remains in critical condition a day after being shot in the torso during a robbery.

Burks is currently at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis after undergoing surgery Monday night.

Burks and four other men were in the backyard of a Memphis house when they were attacked by three robbers. Burks and another unidentified man were shot in the attempt. The unidentified man is also in critical condition.
