Cricket Australia has defended Ricky Ponting's team,
insisting they play "hard but fair", following mounting criticism of
their on-field behaviour.

India accused the Aussies of lacking sportmanship in the second Test.

But CA chief executive James Sutherland said: "The team
are not perfect but get it right a lot more than they used to. It's
Test cricket, not tiddly winks."

well to reply mr sutherland if aussies play hard it is o.k. and the indians do the same thing it is wrong then they run to the teacher.what ponting needs a spanking at his back for misdemeaning the stature of such a wonderful game called cricket. If bhajji says monkey it is wrong and when brad hogg says ba...d it is mild. the double standards of cricket australia and white world are self evident
