Day 1: Stumps  - South Africa trail by 152 runs.

RSA: 57/0 (14.0 Ovs) | Aus: 209

Fantastic Day for South Africans. Everything went in their way from bowling to batting throught the first day. They not only bowled out just above 200 but also kept their all wickets till the stumps with handly half century partnership.

It was a fine day for South Africa. They bowled well in batting friendly conditions and their hard work paid off as Australia were bowled out for just over 200. Then their latest opening pair came out with an all positive intent. They forced Ponting to remove the most dreaded bowler of the series after bowling just 3 overs and going for plenty. They are still holding fort for South Africa and that rounds off a good day for the Proteas.
