Australia win the first Test match by 125 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the three match series against Sri Lanka

Chasing a mammoth total of 379 to win, Sri Lanka was on 126 for 5 when the match began today on the fourth day, and put up a fight without losing a wicket till lunch.

But following the dismissal of Mahela Jayawardene (105), Sri Lanka lost wickets regularly to be bowled out for 253.
