The City of Baltimore should be a awarded an annual college bowl game next season and name it the 2011 College Smash Mouth Bowl.

M & T Bank Stadium in downtown Baltimore is a great venue and will be the birth-place of the first-ever 2010 Smash Mouth Bowl when the Ravens host the Steelers on Sunday December 5, 2010.

The game can between an ACC vs. Big East, ACC vs. Big 10, or ACC vs. SEC teams. College football fans would travel from the northeast, southeast, and mid-west to view the games.

The City of Baltimore has its world famous Inner Harbor for fans and tourist to visit while in town. Baltimore is also within a four-hour distance to New York City.

Baltimore has hosted the annual Army vs. Navy game on various occasions. Derrick E. Vaughan of Dunkadelic Sports Marketing believes, "that Baltimore is an up and coming city for other big-time sporting events, an annual college bowl game would be huge for the city and the college game.

Baltimore can get lost when you mention the other big-four cities on the east coast (Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC), Vaughan continues.

The City of Baltimore is home to athletic performance brand Under Armour and at Raven home games you hear the chant "We Must Protect This House, I Will, I Will." . Now that's Smash Mouth style football.
