South Africa’s presence in the unofficial event has been the cause of much debate, with many arguing against the participation of a top ranked team against the minnows, particularly when they have an all-important upcoming tour of England in July.                                                                
Bangladesh, on the other hand, have gone into the tournament with everything to gain – however, the team has failed to make a mark in the series so far, and followed up an 11-run loss against Zimbabwe with their most recent defeat at the hands of the Proteas.
