PEP, I wasnt sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered. Please review What Makes News News. It can really help if you follow the old "W5" news formula -- making sure you have answered the questions: Who? What? Where? When? And Why? (You might want to check out our J-Tips for more help.)
Yep, I'm wrenching my own stuff, which is posted as an example. There's no news value here. The link is to a paid-for live streaming purchase.
If it doesn't look good in terms of baseball/softball, then why is it OK for cricket spam? There are so many options for so many sports to publish these types of material. Now that it's being flagged as "Good Stuff" by an editor from the region of the cricket spam, apparently it's time for NP contributors to do the same for their favorite sports.
If this type of material is "Good Stuff" then football season in the U.S. can provide lots of it. Do you know how many teams there are in the Conferences? Let alone pre-season games, exhibition games, season games, etc.

Point well made PEP, yesterday morning the top 5 stories were advertising sports coverage on other sites. It seems that NP now wants to be a link farm instead of a news site.
