The Nanaimo Clippers lost out to the Trail Smokeaters Friday night in their hometown Frank Crane Arena.  The final score was Nanaimo Clippers 2, Trail Smokeaters 4.  The Nanaimo Clippers had more shots on goal than the Trail Smokeaters but the Smokeaters had more that counted.  At the end of the game, the Trail Smokeaters' Goalie was named first star.

The game on Friday night saw the Nanaimo Clippers play six games in nine nights.  The players now have a week to regroup and get ready for their meeting with the Alberni Bulldogs next Friday, October 23 at the Frank Crane Arena.
