BCHL Nanaimo Clippers pulled off a decisive win Friday night, scoring 5 goals to Powell River Kings' 1.  The Clippers came hungry for a win and held the Powell River team scoreless in the first period.  Clippers fans had lots to cheer about as the home town team ran up the score while holding the visiting team to one goal.

Tempers flared throughout the game.  At times the penalty boxes were too full to hold more players.  The game was delayed while the assignment of penalties was sorted out after one dust up.

Powell River Kings return to the Frank Crane Arena next Friday for a matchup with the Nanaimo Clippers.
