Sunday afternoon saw the BCTF Nanaimo Clippers lose another home game, this time to the Powell River Kings.  The Nanaimo Clippers have yet to win a home game this season.  Quite a turnaround from past years.  The score on Sunday was Powell River Kings one, Nanaimo Clippers zero.  The lone goal was scored by Powell River in the first period.  The rest of the game remained scoreless.

The hapless Clippers couldn't get that frozen piece of rubber into the net.  Early in the game they had a two man advantage for nearly two minutes and a man advantage for four and couldn't score.  Seadog has been missing the past two games.  Perhaps he has retreated to his dog house.

The theme for this year's Nanaimo Clippers is Reality Check.  It may be time to face the reality that the fans will melt away if the Clippers don't start producing a few home game wins.

Nanaimo Clippers next play at home in the Frank Crane Arena on Friday, October 16 against the Burnaby Express.
