"Beat Dat Nation!" Rally Chant to Spark Saints vs Ravens 12/19/10
The Baltimore Ravens are coming off an overtime Monday Night Football victory over the Houston Texans 34-28. They were still feeling the effects of a bitter home defeat vs. division rival Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) who took control of the AFC North with the smash-mouth style13-10 hard hitting win.
The Ravens are now 9-4 and are tied with the New York Jets for the last two wild-card playoff positions in the AFC. The Jets head to Pittsburgh for a must win victory against the Steelers who can secure the number 2 spot in the AFC if they win all 3 remaining games of the regular-season.
Baltimore gets another big-time game at home vs the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints. New Orleans come to Baltimore on a 6-game win streak. They are one-game behind the Atlanta Falcons who have the best record in the NFC at 11-2.
Dunkadelic Sports Marketing in Baltimore has created the "Beat Dat Nation!" rally chant for all Ravens fans to cheer at M & T Bank Stadium this coming Sunday to spark the Ravens to victory over the New Orleans Saints and their "Who Dat!" pop-culture chant.
'The Beat Dat Nation! rally chant was inspired by the Boston Celtics "Beat LA" chant that became part of the Lakers vs. Celtics rivalry of the 1980's", says Derrick E. Vaughan of Dunkadelic Sports Marketing.
"They really need this game to show the NFL elite teams that the Ravens will be a serious contender when the playoffs begin. When you have an inter-conference game like this, this late in the season it can be a huge motivator to a team when teams look to peak in December for a playoff-run to the Super Bowl," Vaughan continues.
New Orleans did that last year and will be looking to continue their surge in the NFC and look forward to a showdown vs. the Falcons the following week for possible home field advantage and the number 1 spot in the NFC.
The fans of Baltimore can derail that surge by the Saints by chanting Beat Dat Nation, Beat Dat Nation, Beat Dat Nation all game long.
When a Saints fans walks in Baltimore with a "Who Dat!" t-shirt a fan in Baltimore can say we are going to "Beat Dat!"
