Beckham Ready For 2010 World Cup.
The year 2010 started with David Beckham of the English National Team and LA Galaxy expressing his thoughts about the World Cup. He discussed his thoughts in the first interview of 2010 for FIFA.com.
He has stated his willingness to participate in the 2010 World Cup representing England and talked about the other people in his team. Mr. Beckham also is prepared to play for a team with Fabio Capello as coach. It is the first time that Capello will manage a team for the World Cup.
Mr. Beckham also talked about Messi and Maradona as well as when he would see World Cups on TV as a child. He talked about the way football changes lives and how it has evolved. While supporting the US Football [Soccer] Team, it is clear that Beckham and England cannot be underestimated.
The first game of Group C will be between England and the United States of America. While England is expected to be the favourite in the group, the USA could be a headache for the English. It must be remembered that the United States defeated England during one the greatest upsets in the 1950 World Cup in Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Algeria would also have to be taken in consideration after Zidane's visit to the practice sessions of the team.
It could be imagined what will happen when Beckham faces Donovan in what is to be the greatest game in the 2010 World Cup.
