Manchester City sign Tal Ben Haim from Chelsea

Not quite Ronaldinho, Haim's time at Chelsea didn't go too well, they got him on a free transfer so he looks expensive this time, Man city are spending some money this summer, £18m for Jo is a lot, but maybe their best investment are the feng shui crytals they've put under the pitch, it seemed to work for Tottenham, sort of, it'll be interesting to see how they've faired at the end of the season, if they do work it'll be 2-0 to Feng Shui.

Manchester City have completed the signing of centre-back Tal Ben Haim from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.

The Israeli joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Bolton in June 2007 but has left after failing to establish himself in the first-team set-up.

Garry Cook, City's executive chairman, decided to explore the possibility after speaking with two of the club's Thai executives.

He has now had crystals placed under the pitch at Eastlands and symbols placed in strategic spots around the stadium, in the hope that the Far Eastern tradition will have the same success that it did for Tottenham Hotspur, the Carling Cup champions, who experimented with the idea last season.
