Big Day for Ireland - Six Nations 2009

The start of the 2009 Six Nations tournament this year was brilliant for those who have won their first fixtures. The two games that started off the 2009 Six Nations were England vs. Italy and Ireland vs France. England had a comfortable win over Italy by 36-11. However the highly entertaining and surprising game to watch was Ireland beating the favorites France by 30-21.

Despite playing entertaining rugby and having the lion's share of possession, France were unable to repeat their last-minute victory of two years ago at the same venue as Ireland triumphed over Les Bleus for the first time in six years.

The 2009 Six Nations keeps going tommorow with an exciting game between Scotland vs Wales.
